As a graduate of FSU’s 社会工作 program, you will be prepared to immediately gain employment in the field. You can also go on to pursue your Master of 社会工作 degree, either in a traditional or advanced standing program. You will also be qualified to sit for your state’s Bachelor of 社会工作 licensing exam.

What You'll Learn

In the classroom setting, you will draw from psychological and sociological theoretical frameworks and conceptual models in social work practice. You will also learn to demonstrate the foundational knowledge of the Code of Ethics of the National Association of 社会工作ers. Those foundational skills will also assist you in the generalist social work practice of engaging, 评估, and intervening with individuals, 家庭, 组, 社区, and organizations. You will be prepared to evaluate the goals of social policies, in terms of social work’s core values, specifically those pertaining to social justice, the dignity and worth of the person, and the importance of human relationships.
